Mount Austin's busiest market is house rentals, with 130 leases (sharply up 27.5%) at $493 a week (up 10.8%) as of July 2026, renting out in about 23 days (up from 20 days last year), with rents growing faster than most house rental markets nationally, with 3-bedroom the most common at around 65%.

House sales follow, with 81 sales (down 10%) at around $530k (up 18.4%), taking about 25 days to sell (down a lot from 42 days last year), among NSW's strongest house price gains, with more than half being 3-bedroom. Followed by 13 unit rentals at $420 a week and 6 unit sales at around $530k.
