House sales dominate Queenstown, with 74 sales at around $221k (up sharply) as of July 2026, taking about 78 days to sell (down a lot from 109 days last year), among Tasmania's strongest house price gains, mostly 3-bedroom (around 60%).

House rentals are the only other notable market, with 32 leases at $295 a week, renting out in about 60 days (down from 61 days last year), among the country's biggest house rent drops, with 3-bedroom making up about half. Then come 2 unit sales at around $177.5k.
