House sales lead the way in Deakin, with 57 sales at around $2.152M (up sharply) as of July 2026, taking about 30 days to sell, one of the ACT's strongest house price gains, with just over half being 4-bedroom.

House rentals are nearly as big, with 40 leases at $945 a week, renting out in about 36 days (up from 31 days last year), one of the country's least in-demand house rental markets, with 4-bedroom making up about half. Rounding it out, 31 unit rentals at $700 a week (less sought-after than most unit rental markets). 8 unit sales at around $1.225M.
