Unit rentals make up most of Kingston's activity, with 598 leases (down 3.2%) at $635 a week (up 1.6%) as of July 2026, renting out in about 19 days (down from 20 days last year), among the country's most in-demand unit rental markets, with around half being 2-bedroom.

Unit sales come a distant second, with 306 sales (up 11.7%) at around $671k (up 3.4%), taking about 40 days to sell (down a lot from 56 days last year), one of the most sought-after unit markets in the ACT, with 2-bedroom making up about half. Then come 14 house rentals at $1,120 a week.
