Hamilton's four markets run roughly even — unit rentals just edge ahead, with 113 leases (up 2.7%) at $745 a week (up 6.4%) as of July 2026, renting out in about 14 days (down from 19 days last year), one of the country's most in-demand house rental markets, around half are 3-bedroom.

Unit rentals follow closely, with 107 leases (up 7%) at $595 a week (up 9.2%), renting out in about 16 days (up from 14 days last year), with 2-bedroom the most common at around 60%. Followed by 74 house sales at around $1.171M (up) and 34 unit sales at around $770k.
