Zetland property market

Zetland is one of the country's biggest unit rental markets — houses make up a tiny share, with 1,636 leases (down 3.2%) at $1,100 a week (up 10%) as of July 2026, renting out in about 24 days (down from 25 days last year), more sought-after than most unit rental markets nationally, with 2-bedroom the most common at around 55%.

Unit sales make up a much smaller share, with 345 sales (down 8.5%) at around $979k (up 2.5%), taking about 40 days to sell (up from 35 days last year), with just under half being 2-bedroom. Then come 96 house rentals at $1,205 a week.

House covers houses, duplexes, semi-detached and terraces; Unit covers apartments, units, townhouses and villas.
