House sales lead the way in Lara, with 469 sales (up 9.3%) at around $719k (up 5.1%) as of July 2026, taking about 32 days to sell (up from 26 days last year), more sought-after than most house markets in Victoria, with more than half being 4-bedroom.

House rentals follow closely, with 435 leases (up 13%) at $580 a week (up 2.7%), renting out in about 21 days (down from 22 days last year), among the country's most in-demand house rental markets, with around half being 4-bedroom. Followed by 65 unit rentals at $485 a week. 57 unit sales at around $556.5k (one of Victoria's strongest unit price gains).
