Perth is mostly a unit rentals market — house activity is almost zero, with 1,270 leases (down 4.3%) at $755 a week (up 8.6%) as of July 2026, renting out in about 19 days (up from 18 days last year), one of the country's most in-demand unit rental markets, with just over half being 2-bedroom.
Unit sales are the only other notable market, with 601 sales (sharply down 22.8%) at around $630k (up 21.9%), taking about 15 days to sell (down from 20 days last year), one of the most sought-after unit markets in the country, with around half being 2-bedroom. Then come 95 house rentals at $865 a week and 67 house sales at around $1.214M.
