St Kilda, VIC 3182 market activity

St Kilda is one of the country's biggest unit rental markets — houses make up a tiny share, with 1,755 leases (down 2.6%) at $545 a week (up 4.8%), renting out in about 20 days (up from 19 days last year), one of the country's most in-demand unit rental markets, just over half of homes are 1-bedroom.

Unit sales make up a much smaller share, with 712 sales (up 6.7%) at around $509.5K (down 2.2%), taking about 29 days to sell, among the most sought-after unit markets nationally, with 2-bedroom and 1-bedroom roughly tied at around 50% each.
