Kensington's busiest market is house rentals, but only just, with 239 leases (sharply down 21.9%) at $705 a week (up 4.4%), renting out in about 18 days (up from 16 days last year), one of the country's most in-demand house rental markets, with 2-bedroom and 3-bedroom about even at around 45% each.

Unit rentals are close behind, with 164 leases (sharply down 27.4%) at $525 a week (up 6.1%), renting out in about 16 days (down from 18 days last year), among the most sought-after unit rental markets nationally, with 2-bedroom homes making up around 60%. Followed by 142 unit sales at around $510K (down 9.9%), among the country's biggest unit price drops. 137 house sales at around $1.127M (up 6.7%).
